Walgreens worked with Carusele to build awareness for its Red Nose Day campaign and encourage U.S. consumers to buy a Red Nose in-store to support the cause. The challenge was to drive broad attention around the initiative and turn that awareness into store traffic and purchases.

Carusele created the “Red Nose Club,” a group of influencers who helped launch the campaign at Walgreens’ flagship store in Chicago through social shopping, a launch video, live event coverage, and blog content. The effort drove a 230% increase in mentions, generated 5,000 tweets during a one-hour Twitter party, and delivered 93.7 million impressions, which was 53% above goal.
