Montreal-based Anagraph is a small team of designers, developers and GIS experts that builds custom geospatial solutions. While meeting dozens of online B2C retailers, they identified a common problem: smaller merchants lack affordable, easy-to-use geomarketing tools and market/persona data that have traditionally been accessible only to large enterprises.

To address this they launched Geometric, a SaaS geomarketing app (released January) that connects directly to Shopify to import and geocode customer data, enriches it with over 50 demographic attributes to generate demographic clusters and persona maps, and also accepts CSV uploads for non-Shopify users. Built on the CARTO developer stack — which cut development time to six months — Geometric delivers zipcode- and cluster-based insights that help retailers target key audiences, improve campaign ROI, and plan further expansion (US demographics and additional eCommerce connectors).
