University of Arizona delivers 50K+ orders with Cartken

The University of Arizona, a major public research university, sought innovative ways to enhance its campus dining delivery. The challenge involved navigating the large campus with traditional delivery methods, which was difficult due to congestion and parking limitations. The university wanted a convenient, integrated solution for students and partnered with Cartken to implement an autonomous robot delivery service.

Cartken deployed a fleet of 41 robots integrated with the existing Grubhub app. This solution led to the delivery of over 50,000 orders in a nine-month period, with a median driving time of just under 13 minutes. The service achieved a 75% reorder rate from students and allowed the university to expand dining options without the cost of building new physical locations, demonstrating significant operational success for Cartken.
