Case Study: Sun Logistics lowers costs and boosts productivity with Carrier Logistics FACTS

Sun Logistics cuts total expenses 11% with Carrier Logistics

Sun Logistics LLC, an LTL carrier, faced operational inefficiencies due to outdated computer systems and paper-based workflows. Their challenge was to improve customer visibility, increase capacity, reduce costs, and modernize their processes. They selected the FACTS freight management software from vendor Carrier Logistics Inc (CLI) to address these issues.

Carrier Logistics Inc implemented its cloud-hosted FACTS software, which provided comprehensive tools for planning, dispatch, dock management, and billing. The solution resulted in significant measurable improvements, including an 11% decrease in total expenses, a 51% reduction in returns, an 8% increase in driver productivity, and a jump in on-time deliveries from 97% to 99%. Sun Logistics achieved a positive return on its total investment in less than one year.
