Dohrn Transfer Company, an LTL carrier, faced challenges in reducing administrative costs, improving freight visibility, and becoming a more environmentally friendly, paperless organization. To address this, they worked with vendor Carrier Logistics Inc (CLI) and leveraged its FACTS freight management software.

The solution implemented by CLI included electronic Bill of Lading processing, an enhanced Dock Management Board, and an integrated mobile Proof of Delivery system. The results were significant: management saved 30 minutes daily per terminal, drivers saved 15 minutes daily, and billing personnel completed 2.7 more bills per hour. CLI's technology also enabled an anticipated 16.67% cross-dock savings and eliminated an estimated 240,000 pieces of paper monthly.
