The customer, UW Credit Union, is a financial institution with 20 branch locations across Wisconsin. Their facilities staff faced the challenge of integrating disparate HVAC controls from various systems into a single platform to improve occupant comfort and minimize energy usage, while also desiring remote access to all building controls from their corporate office. The vendor, Carrier Global, provided a solution involving their i-Vu® Pro building automation system.

Carrier Global's solution utilized the BACnet controls' ability to interface with other applications, and the i-Vu® Pro web-based interface provided centralized access. This enabled the facilities staff to troubleshoot distant equipment directly from their Madison office, which reduced service calls to local HVAC contractors. The implemented controls streamlined management and helped conserve energy across the credit union's branches.
