East Greenwich High School Implements a New Wireless Network Infrastructure for Future Growth

East Greenwich High School, a top-performing public school in Rhode Island, partnered with Carousel Industries to prepare for a future 1-to-1 Chromebook initiative and growing BYOD demands. The school needed a new wireless data network to support expanded student access, stronger control over educational and Internet services, and an upgrade from obsolete Ethernet switches that were costly to maintain and could not easily handle increasing bandwidth needs.

Carousel Industries replaced the legacy switching infrastructure with Juniper EX3300/EX4200 Ethernet switches and deployed an Aruba wireless solution using AP-134/AP-135 access points and Aruba 3600 controllers. The new network delivered resilient campus-wide wireless coverage, granular security controls, and easier management for IT staff, helping East Greenwich High School launch its tablet-ready environment with greater scalability, reliability, and confidence.
