Carousel Stimulates Rapid Digital Signage Growth for Central Connecticut State University

Central Connecticut State University (CCSU) sought to upgrade its legacy on-premises digital signage to streamline campus-wide communications across its large student and faculty population. The university faced challenges in efficiently managing content and needed a cloud-based solution that could scale quickly, especially for COVID-19 response, while offering features like single sign-on and improved alert compliance. They selected Carousel Digital Signage's Carousel Cloud software to address this need.

Carousel Digital Signage implemented its cloud-based platform, which allowed CCSU to rapidly scale its network from zero to nearly 100 displays in just three days. The solution simplified content creation and management for multiple departments, enabling them to easily customize and target messages. The network grew to 155 screens, improving communications for dining services, the library, and the student center. The university also integrated BrightSign players for reliable content delivery and plans to further expand the system's reach, making Carousel Cloud its unified solution for all digital signage.
