Brigham and Women's Hospital - Customer Case Study

Brigham and Women’s Hospital needed a digital signage solution that was exceptionally easy to use for its hundreds of departments across multiple locations. They required a decentralized, web-based system that would allow staff with minimal technical experience to create their own content. The hospital partnered with vendor Carousel Digital Signage and utilized their Carousel Enterprise application to meet this challenge.

The solution involved deploying 27 Carousel players connected to the hospital's network, managed via a web browser. The Carousel software’s template-based system made it simple for over 100 trained staff members to create bulletins, which were then approved by administrators. The implementation was smooth with strong support from Carousel. The result was a highly successful network; on the main campus, 40 out of 103 users actively post content, with 50+ bulletins typically queued and 20-30 running at any given time.
