How the Flutter App Is Changing Women’s Health with Artificial Intelligence

Flutter is an iOS app for women’s health founded by Jason Curry to address a gap he experienced firsthand when his wife struggled with endometriosis. The app combines period tracking, a daily physical and emotional journal, exportable logs for doctors and a community feature, while tackling the dual challenge of building product-market fit and overcoming tough user acquisition and retention dynamics in the mobile health space.

To meet those challenges Flutter added AI-driven features—a chatbot and machine learning to surface patterns in anonymized health data for earlier detection of reproductive disease—plus multi-channel acquisition experiments and tailored re-engagement messaging via Carnival.io. The approach has improved monthly active users, delivered tangible value to users and clinicians, demonstrated potential to reduce late-stage interventions, and positioned the company for a planned funding round to accelerate growth.
