Vivium, a large insurance company in Belgium, needed to develop a compliant document archive in less than six months. Their challenge was to store files from multiple sources and make them accessible to over 300 internal users while also establishing a disaster recovery plan. They worked with vendor Caringo to address these requirements.

The solution, implemented by partner XeniT, integrated Alfresco CMS with Caringo Swarm to migrate over 3 million documents. Caringo's solution used metadata for searchability and established a two-site replication for disaster recovery. The results included optimized content retrieval, support for over 5 million documents with high daily growth, and instant archive access for more than 500 employees and brokers.
