Wilson Oil & Propane is a family-owned heating oil, propane, and HVAC company serving Pennsylvania’s Delaware Valley and parts of Delaware and New Jersey. The company needed energy software that could keep up with its operations, including mobile delivery support and better forecasting for seasonal demand, but its earlier systems were limited and required manual work.

Wilson Oil & Propane worked with Cargas to develop Cargas Energy, along with Microsoft CRM and Sage Intacct, to improve delivery forecasting, automate parts of the sales process, and streamline financials. The company says Cargas Energy helped it reach the top 10% in the industry for gallons delivered per stop and cut contract preparation time by 75 percent, while also improving delivery efficiency, forecasting, and customer communication.
