A Cargas Case Study
The Philadelphia Eagles faced the challenge of scaling finance and operations as the organization grew from a small team to a complex enterprise running Lincoln Financial Field, with more than 200 full‑time and roughly 2,200 seasonal/part‑time employees, multiple event and retail operations, and demanding reporting requirements. To meet these needs they adopted Microsoft Dynamics GP and engaged Cargas in 2003 to provide the expertise needed to structure and customize the ERP solution for multi‑entity accounting, inventory, payroll and complex reporting.
Cargas customized and implemented Microsoft Dynamics GP to handle expanded payroll for players, staff, trades and game‑day employees, manage over 17 retail locations plus three year‑round stores, and organize the general ledger for multiple third‑party reporting requirements. Cargas also helped the Eagles go paperless for payroll as part of a green initiative; the result was a stable, scalable ERP foundation that improved business intelligence, inventory management, accounting and payroll capabilities and positioned the organization for continued growth.
