Pennsylvania Association for the Blind, a statewide nonprofit that serves over 4,000 adults and screens and educates over 75,000 preschool children each year, was struggling with an outdated legacy application. The organization needed to compile data from 25 member agencies for state reporting and funding, but the system was cumbersome, difficult to customize, and required manual work at the start of each fiscal year.

Cargas implemented a Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM XRM solution that gave Pennsylvania Association for the Blind a cloud-based system with flexible reporting and year-to-year continuity. The new setup went live on July 1, 2019, let all 25 member agencies access the CRM, and eliminated dependence on a programmer for changes, while also removing the need for an on-premise server and its monthly maintenance fee.
