Carrington Place - Customer Case Study

Carrington Place is a specialty care assisted living facility in Alabama that serves mainly residents with Alzheimer’s and must maintain secure, compliant resident records. The facility previously relied on paper-and-pen charts, which were time-consuming and frustrating for its 25 employees. To modernize and meet requirements, Carrington Place implemented CareSuite, using modules for medication/med pass, medication and charting notes, ADL and behavior tracking, along with QuickMAR University training.

CareSuite replaced paper records with an integrated electronic system and training that improved communication with the pharmacy and ensured updates propagate across the system. As a result, Carrington Place cut assessment time from about 2 hours to 45 minutes or less per resident per week, has used CareSuite for two years, and reports substantial time savings, easier med passes, better charting, and higher staff satisfaction.
