A Caregility Case Study
OhioHealth, a large not-for-profit health system, faced technical and budgetary challenges that prevented them from scaling their existing virtual patient observation program beyond 50 patients. Their previous system was difficult to scale, caused alarm fatigue, and featured one-way communication that confused patients. To expand their program across 11 locations, they partnered with Caregility to implement the iObserver solution.
Caregility provided a flexible, cloud-based platform that offered two-way audio/video, remote camera control, and a smaller equipment footprint. The implementation was completed seamlessly in a single day with minimal downtime, deploying 62 new carts across all sites. The result was a fully scalable solution that improved patient safety and staff satisfaction, allowing OhioHealth to cost-effectively expand their virtual care programs.
