Baptist Health, Caregility Expand Partnership to Enhance Patient Care

Baptist Health, an Arkansas-based healthcare system, sought to enhance patient care and address staffing challenges by expanding its virtual care capabilities. The organization partnered with vendor Caregility to leverage its Caregility Cloud platform and intelligent telehealth edge devices to provide additional clinical support at the bedside.

The solution implemented by Caregility involved the deployment of over 700 telehealth devices across Baptist Health's hospitals, more than doubling its previous footprint. This expansion supported the rollout of virtual nursing, virtual support staff, and virtual provider programs. As a result, Baptist Health dramatically increased its telehealth session volume from 1,000 to over 20,000 visits per quarter, leading to improved patient satisfaction, significant time savings for staff, and enhanced throughput.
