The Missouri Veterans Commission (MVC), a Missouri state agency serving veterans through benefits assistance, nursing care, homes, programs, and cemeteries, needed to replace manual, paper-based scheduling and timekeeping with a more efficient, accurate system. Care Systems provided its CareWare suite, including the CareStaffer and CareTime modules, to help MVC manage staff scheduling and time & attendance across its large, multi-site workforce.

Care Systems implemented CareWare and integrated it with Missouri’s SAM II system for HR and payroll, creating automated outbound HR and inbound payroll interfaces. The solution digitized scheduling and timekeeping, added a data repository with historical punch records, and automatically generated timesheets with accurate pay and leave codes, helping MVC reduce payroll errors, eliminate manual scheduling, and lower absenteeism.
