Monty’s Good Burger, a fast-growing plant-based burger chain, needed a way to add online ordering after the COVID-19 pandemic forced restaurants to shut down and rethink contactless service. The team had previously considered digital ordering, but the urgency increased as they looked for a solution that could fit their existing POS and be implemented quickly.
CardFree delivered a digital ordering web app plus native iOS and Android apps that integrated with Monty’s existing POS and reflected the brand experience online. The results were strong: 20% of total sales came from online orders soon after launch, digital sales later represented 30% of total sales, and average digital ticket values were about 11% higher than non-digital orders.
