MadWolf Technologies - Customer Case Study

MadWolf Technologies is a 25‑person MSP in Washington, D.C., founded in 1996 to serve NGOs and political organizations; since 2004 they have sold EVault/Carbonite Server but needed enterprise‑grade redundancy, predictable pricing and stronger vendor support after Carbonite’s acquisition of EVault. Their challenge was delivering cost‑effective, highly available backup and fast failover to small‑ and mid‑size clients without blowing budgets.

Carbonite responded by integrating acquisitions (Doubletake, Datacastle) into an availability suite, improving channel support and enabling a hybrid backup model MadWolf standardized for clients. The result: markedly better products and pricing, near‑real‑time failover instead of 24–48 hour recovery, stronger partnership and the ability for MadWolf to offer enterprise‑level redundancy across ~100 customers and 100 TB of managed data.
