Delphi Technology Solutions is a managed service provider supporting public sector agencies and small businesses (150+ servers, 1,000+ desktops), led by founder and CEO James Trombly. Many clients relied on aging, physical backups and faced rising ransomware risk, limited offsite protection, remote-access needs during COVID-19, and accreditation requirements that demanded stronger encryption and visibility.

Delphi deployed Carbonite Server Backup and Carbonite Safe (and is rolling out Carbonite Backup for Microsoft 365), consolidating virtual environments, centralizing monitoring, and meeting encryption requirements. The change cut backup monitoring from about 15 hours to 1 hour per week, improved datacenter visibility, enabled multiple file and full-server recoveries (including a large Citrix server), reduced management overhead, and freed staff to focus on security and other priorities.
