Pruksa reduces concrete’s carbon footprint with CarbonCure

Pruksa, through its precast division Inno Precast, sought to lead the shift to sustainable construction in Thailand. The challenge was to significantly reduce the carbon footprint of its concrete while maintaining its high standards for performance and quality. They partnered with the vendor CarbonCure to implement its technology for their precast production.

By adopting CarbonCure's technology, the solution involved injecting recycled CO₂ into the concrete mix. This process permanently mineralizes the CO₂ and improves the concrete's compressive strength. The results allowed Pruksa and Inno Precast to produce more sustainable precast concrete without compromising on their quality requirements, achieving a significant reduction in their product's carbon footprint.
