Browning Construction saves 240,000 pounds of CO₂ with CarbonCure Technologies

The customer, Browning Construction, was constructing the US Headquarters for Infosys and sought to align the project with the client's core sustainability values and pollution prevention initiatives. To meet this challenge, Browning Construction utilized the technology from vendor CarbonCure Technologies.

CarbonCure Technologies implemented its solution by having the concrete producer, Irving Materials Inc. (imi), use its technology in the concrete mixes for the building's construction. This resulted in a significant reduction of the project's carbon footprint. The solution saved 240,000 pounds of CO₂, which is equivalent to the amount of CO₂ absorbed by 142 acres of forest in a year. The project's success was celebrated by Browning Construction and was even featured on Bill Gates' blog, GatesNotes.
