MyFit Solutions faced the common consumer audio problem that “one size fits all” earbuds don’t fit most ears, and traditional custom options were prohibitively expensive. To deliver affordable, personalized earbud tips, MyFit Solutions paired its AR ear-scanning app with digital manufacturing from Carbon — using the Carbon Digital Light Synthesis™ (Carbon DLS™) process via Erpro Group, a certified Carbon Production Network Partner.

Erpro Group used Carbon’s DLS process and the biocompatible Carbon SIL 30 material to 3D print soft, durable, brand-compatible earbud tips with personalization options at no extra cost. Carbon-enabled production cut lead times to a three-day turnaround, halved the price compared with existing custom solutions, enabled localized manufacturing to reduce shipping costs, and is already producing 50 pairs every 2–3 weeks with plans to scale further.
