University of Cambridge recruits 65+ researchers with Carbon Creative

The University of Cambridge needed to develop a brand and a content-managed website for its Cantab Capital Institute for the Mathematics of Information (CCIMI). The challenge was to create a platform that facilitated collaboration and sharing among mathematicians and researchers while also providing easy content updates for marketing staff. They engaged the vendor, Carbon Creative, to employ its brand and web services for this complex project.

Carbon Creative implemented a geometric visual identity and a website featuring a custom JavaScript animation to bring theoretical concepts to life. The solution included a full CMS and specialized functionality for users to update and share project assets. As a result, the website has helped recruit over sixty-five professors, researchers, and students to focus on this niche specialist area, providing a foundation for future work in digital imaging. Carbon Creative successfully delivered a platform supporting this ambitious project for the renowned university.
