A Carbon Creative Case Study
Salix Homes, a not-for-profit organization managing over 8,000 homes in Salford, faced the challenge of raising awareness and building support for a proposed stock transfer, a decision that required a majority 'yes' vote from its tenants. They engaged the vendor Carbon Creative to design and deliver a pivotal campaign using brand and campaign services to inform and inspire their tenants about this critical ballot.
Carbon Creative developed "The Power of Yes" campaign, an illustrative and attention-grabbing initiative that utilized direct mail, outdoor advertising, and community engagement materials. The solution was highly successful, resulting in 61.4% of tenants voting in favor of the transfer, unlocking millions in investment. The campaign was also highly commended at the UK Housing Awards 2015, providing a significant reputational boost for the newly formed housing association.
