Royal Ceramics Lanka Employs Carbon Black to Eliminate Security Breaches

Royal Ceramics Lanka (Rocell), a Sri Lanka–based tiles and sanitary ware manufacturer with ~2,000 employees and 50+ showrooms, faced periodic security breaches and the performance and administrative burdens of traditional antivirus. Rocell turned to Carbon Black and adopted the cloud-based CB Defense to simplify endpoint protection and reduce performance impact.

Carbon Black implemented CB Defense with a lightweight agent and centralized cloud management, consuming less than 1% CPU and disk per endpoint and eliminating the need to touch individual machines. As a result, Rocell reported no further breaches, improved system performance, and greatly reduced administrative overhead—no dedicated AV operator and one‑or‑two‑click management through Carbon Black’s portal.
