Philips Lighting, N.V., a global LED lighting leader with 34,000+ employees, needed to build “world-class” response capabilities and stay ahead of an evolving threat landscape after launching its first Security Operations Center. Carbon Black deployed Cb Response (cloud-based EDR), giving Philips a custom level of control over threat intelligence, unfiltered endpoint data for rapid threat hunting, and much faster detection and response. Since deploying Cb Response in 2016, company-wide indicator sweeps that once took weeks to reach 75% completion now finish in a fraction of the time, improving coverage, response times, and enabling quicker security decision-making by leadership.
