Leading Financial-Services Firm Turns to Carbon Black After Targeted Attack Bypasses AV, Resulting in $13M Breach

Leading Financial Services Company was hit by a targeted attack that breached nearly 1,000 servers and led to $13 million in stolen funds. After its McAfee antivirus failed to stop the breach, the company turned to Carbon Black and its Cb Protection endpoint-security product to strengthen its security posture.

Carbon Black implemented Cb Protection across 32,000 endpoints in High Enforcement mode, which detected and remediated the malware on compromised machines. Since deployment, the company has reported zero breaches, while also reducing IT workload with minimal management and very few approval requests.
