Domino’s Pizza Japan Strengthens Their Endpoint Security Posture

Domino’s Pizza Japan faced growing security gaps as POS servers became more internet-connected and Windows Defender proved insufficient to protect critical branch systems. To harden endpoint security across its retail operations, Domino’s selected Carbon Black and adopted its CB Defense next‑generation antivirus and EDR solution for POS servers and endpoints.

Carbon Black deployed cloud‑delivered CB Defense via a single lightweight agent to all 551 POS servers, providing NGAV, EDR visibility and root‑cause attack chain analysis with zero observable impact on server performance. The rollout improved detection and prevention of both malware and non‑malware attacks, allowed faster incident investigation, and Carbon Black continues to be expanded to additional Domino’s endpoints.
