ATOM Mobility, a provider of micromobility technology, partnered with e-scooter operator Hoog to expand free-floating rental schemes in smaller European cities. Their challenge was launching these services without expensive infrastructure, as this free-floating model carried a high risk of vehicles being parked unsafely and obstructing sidewalks, which threatened compliance with city regulations.

The vendor Captur implemented its AI-guided parking solution to analyze end-of-ride photos and provide real-time feedback to riders. This transformed user behavior, with 82% of bad parking incidents being eliminated and 52% of riders improving their parking after a single notification. For the customer, Captur’s solution drastically reduced the time spent reviewing parking photos by 80-90% and was pivotal in enabling Hoog’s successful expansion into seven new regions by strengthening relationships with city councils.
