The Independent, one of the UK’s largest quality digital news brands, wanted to put data at the heart of its advertising and editorial strategy and build a more accurate set of core audiences for agencies and advertisers. To do this, it worked with Captify® and its Search Intelligence Platform, Sense, to unlock a unique, data-led targeting methodology.

Captify® used Sense to analyze billions of connected searches, deepen understanding of audience behavior beyond the site, and create and refine audience segments for The Independent’s DMP. This first-party data strategy, Independent AIM, delivered stronger engagement, including a 27% increase in CTR and a 19% increase in in-view time.
