Universal Orlando Resort aimed to shift its brand perception from a simple theme park to a complete holiday destination and drive bookings from new audiences, particularly millennials. They partnered with the vendor Captify to leverage its Search Intelligence and first-party search data to prospect for these new users.
Captify built custom audiences, including a "next-generation" segment, and used high-impact creatives to engage users. The campaign significantly exceeded its targets for video completion, lightbox engagement, and click-through rates. Most importantly, Captify's solution drove a 444% increase in search intent for Universal Orlando and successfully shifted consumer search behavior from rides to hotels and bookings.
