Capicua partnered with FR8Star, a San Francisco-based freight technology startup, to address challenges within its cloud-based freight management platform. The platform's existing interface had friction points that slowed critical tasks for logistics professionals, and its technical architecture needed improvement to support real-time data and consistent performance across all devices.

To solve this, Capicua rebuilt the platform using React and MobX for real-time state management and Azure for cloud infrastructure. The solution featured an intuitive MaterialUI design with infinite scrolling and a fixed information panel. This significantly reduced workflow friction for users, eliminating the need for an edit mode and providing dispatchers with continuous access to essential data. As a result, Capicua helped FR8Star advance its mission of reducing inefficiencies in the US trucking market.
