Zelmer S.A., a leading Polish manufacturer of small domestic appliances, faced significant operational challenges due to its outdated and custom-built ZSI IT system. As the company grew, this system could no longer support management with essential information, finance with data analysis, or production with planning, requiring extensive manual work. To support its growth plans and strengthen its market position, Zelmer partnered with Capgemini to select a new ERP system that could meet its complex operational requirements.

Capgemini conducted a thorough analysis of Zelmer's processes across all functional areas and designed new target processes. The vendor then developed a detailed RFP with over 700 requirements to evaluate potential systems. Through this structured selection process facilitated by Capgemini, Zelmer chose a new ERP system expected to fully support its key functional areas, resource management, and business processes, enabling improved strategic decision-making. Capgemini also provided further support with knowledge transfer to the selected software provider.
