Marcegaglia, the world’s leading steel-processing group, needed to overhaul its outdated IT infrastructure to increase speed and adaptability to market shifts. The challenge was to innovate its commercial reporting, management control, and business processes by migrating its entire ERP and data warehouse to a new platform. To address this, they partnered with vendor Capgemini to implement a technological renewal based on SAP S/4HANA.

Capgemini executed a complex migration of Marcegaglia's systems to SAP S/4HANA, creating a natively integrated environment for transactional and analytical data.
