Capgemini used ADMnext and Automation Drive, with custom robotic process automation tools such as UIPath, to help rationalize the automation strategy and tackle recurring issues in purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and other supply-chain activities.
Capgemini implemented a phased automation approach focused on high-volume, high-ticket processes, including incident analysis, bulk PO updates, Source-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, and application support. The results included a reduction in PR-to-PO turnaround time from two hours to 20 minutes, about €38,000 in savings, a 75% improvement in PO processing efficiency, a 90% reduction in delayed dispatch, and a 30% drop in delayed payments, while also saving 12,700 manual hours per year.
