A Capgemini Case Study
Deutsche Kreditbank AG (DKB) Code Factory GmbH wanted to reduce the complexity of its toolset and move its customer-facing app testing to more agile, automated processes. DKB partnered with Capgemini to modernize QA for its Android and iOS banking applications, replacing a low-code approach that had created a waterfall-style bottleneck in an agile development environment.
Capgemini implemented native test automation using Kotlin and Espresso for Android and Swift and XCUI for iOS, helping integrate developers into testing and enabling shift-left practices. The new approach improved early defect detection, increased code and product quality, reduced testing delays, and expanded cloud-based device coverage and efficiency.
