Terrence Higgins Trust - Customer Case Study

The Terrence Higgins Trust (THT), the UK's leading HIV and sexual health charity, faced a challenge in overhauling its mission-critical website. The existing site was inadequate for serving the diverse needs of its user groups and did not reflect medical advances that have made HIV a manageable long-term condition. Vendor Capgemini volunteered its services pro bono and deployed its Accelerated Solutions Environment (ASE) to help THT rethink its online strategy.

Using the ASE, Capgemini facilitated intensive workshops and discovery sessions that engaged stakeholders across the charity. This process enabled THT to reach a full consensus on the strategic priorities, direction, and content for a new, highly customized website. As a result, THT was able to produce a strategic specification and go out to tender for the new site, which was funded by a grant, allowing the essential programme to move forward decisively.
