Telefónica O2 Czech Republic, facing intense local competition from numerous small WiFi providers in the broadband market, sought to establish a new Geo Marketing unit to drive targeted local sales. To achieve this, they partnered with vendor Capgemini to develop and implement the new business concept.
Capgemini helped build a detailed market intelligence model and establish the processes for the new Geo Marketing unit. This solution enabled highly targeted local campaigns, which resulted in a 10% growth of the ADSL customer base in selected locations within a three-week period and proved effective for cross-selling other services.
