A Capgemini Case Study
Takeda, a global biopharmaceutical company, needed to unify disparate work processes and systems created by major acquisitions so it could operate as one global organization. It turned to Capgemini and SAP-based ERP standardization to help harmonize business processes across more than 80 countries while reducing disruption to operations.
Capgemini implemented a phased global template rollout, supported by project management, technical delivery, and application management services, plus an ASE session to align teams around the change. The program delivered integrated, consolidated financials, better intercompany planning and supply-chain visibility, a single support model for applications, and faster RPA adoption; after an early plant issue, Takeda paused, refined its approach, and then completed 45 further successful deployments.
