Subsea 7, a global engineering and construction contractor for the offshore oil and gas industry, sought a new enterprise-wide SAP system to support its strategic growth and expansion. They partnered with vendor Capgemini on a "build and run" contract to replace their previous systems.

The solution, built using Capgemini's Rightshore™ delivery model, was a new mySAP ERP system with modules for finance, HR, materials management, and more. Hosted in the UK with support from India, the system enabled real-time compliance monitoring and enhanced mobile computing for offshore teams. Capgemini successfully delivered the mission-critical project on time and on budget, subsequently providing ongoing Applications Management services to ensure seamless operation.
