Southern Star, a leading natural gas pipeline operator, needed to replace disparate, manual systems and an on-premises ERP setup that couldn’t support growth. The company wanted a unified platform to modernize its infrastructure, reduce Excel-based processes, and better manage increasing transactions and employees as it expanded.

Capgemini helped Southern Star implement Oracle Cloud ERP using its CloudNow methodology and a strong change-management approach. The new system integrated finance, supply chain, and HCM, added mobile and self-service capabilities, and automated testing to support quarterly cloud updates. As a result, Southern Star improved efficiencies, streamlined HR and field operations, reduced manual work and travel time, and enabled employees and managers to handle timecards, expenses, and approvals on the go.
