Smartly, a subsidiary of energy company Lyse, faced a challenge where users in shared households could not identify themselves at electric vehicle charging stations, making it impossible to bill the correct individual. To solve this, they partnered with vendor Capgemini to create a new mobile application for this purpose using Adobe Experience Design CC.
Working with Capgemini and its subsidiary Backelite, Smartly developed the app for two separate platforms in just six weeks. This solution provided users with an easy way to log in at the charging station, ensuring the correct person was billed for their energy consumption.
