SFR, the second largest mobile telecommunications operator in France, faced the challenge of building a robust, 24/7 platform to host Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) and enable them to quickly launch with comprehensive telecom services. They partnered with vendor Capgemini to create this turnkey solution, which was based on the LHS-BSCS iX rating and billing platform, to manage everything from order management to billing.

Capgemini implemented the complete system within an aggressive timeline, allowing the first MVNO, Mobisud, to launch commercially before the crucial Christmas period. Following the build phase, Capgemini was also retained to manage the applications and infrastructure and to enrich the platform with new functionalities. This successful collaboration helped SFR establish its MVNO hosting business and support additional clients with convergent service offerings.
