A Capgemini Case Study
A pharmaceutical and life sciences company in China, a client of Capgemini, faced a challenge when the COVID-19 pandemic forced its sales representatives to move their seminars online. While this shift was necessary for safety, new compliance regulations required extensive monitoring of these online events. The company needed an efficient and cost-effective way to gather proof that the events were not being misused, a process that was initially very manual and labor-intensive.
In response, Capgemini implemented a robotic process automation (RPA) solution using UiPath, developing seven robots to automatically collect and prepare the required event screenshots. This automation reduced the company's reliance on costly third-party agencies and provided 24/7 support, significantly lowering compliance costs. The successful project ensured ongoing regulatory compliance and has led the partners to explore further automation opportunities.
