ProRail becomes more agile by transitioning to SAP S/4HANA®

ProRail, the Dutch rail infrastructure manager responsible for maintaining over 7,000 km of track, needed to renew its SAP landscape because its existing financial and back-office systems were struggling to support modern demands. To improve user-friendliness, standardize processes, and become more agile, ProRail partnered with Capgemini and used SAP S/4HANA along with Microsoft Azure Cloud.

Capgemini implemented the SAP S/4HANA platform on Microsoft Azure in just four months, including a large-scale data migration to ensure continuity. Capgemini then set up a new application management model for ProRail’s full landscape, helping improve support, communication, scalability, and data insights while reducing time-to-market for new solutions.
