PostNord, the leading supplier of logistics solutions in the Nordic region, faced a challenge handling the massive spike in parcel volumes during peak shopping seasons. Their limited number of partner outlets needed a more flexible and mobile way to process parcels faster and reduce customer queues. To address this, they partnered with Capgemini to create a robust mobile application.

Capgemini developed a lightweight mobile application for Windows handheld devices that integrated with PostNord's existing Pablo system via a new API. Utilizing an agile Scrum approach, the solution reduced transaction times by approximately 10 seconds per interaction. This significant time saving during peak periods translated into a substantial boost to profit margins and successfully digitally transformed the workforce for over 200 partner outlets.
