Postbank, a major German financial services provider, faced a challenge following several acquisitions. They needed to consolidate three disparate legacy HR systems from the newly integrated entities into a single, centralized platform to support a new service delivery model. To address this, they collaborated with vendor Capgemini on a project to implement a consolidated SAP ERP Human Capital Management (HCM) system.

Capgemini provided leadership and expertise to migrate over 10,000 employee records and harmonize complex payroll processes onto the new SAP HCM platform. The project was completed on time and within budget in just eight months. The result was the successful establishment of a centralized HR service model, which was recognized by group management as the key success factor for the reorganization, enabling more efficient operations across all divisions.
