Opmobility Expands Software Innovation For Mobility

OPmobility, the French automotive manufacturer, needed to scale its Op’n Soft software entity to better support innovation in assisted driving, electrification, personalization, and sustainability. To do that, it partnered with Capgemini Engineering to expand the team’s capabilities and strengthen its software-focused approach for connected mobility.

Capgemini helped OPmobility industrialize and professionalize Op’n Soft with new Agile processes, talent expansion, and stronger cybersecurity and functional safety foundations. As a result, the team grew from 30 to 150 developers across 7 countries, and OPmobility achieved A-SPICE level 2 plus ISO 21434, ISO 26262, and ISO 21448 certifications, improving its ability to deliver software-defined vehicle solutions faster and more securely.
